Positano.

So it's 8.55am and I've just traded conversation with the young lady at the ferry office to start my day off with a trip to Positano.

She managed to complete the transaction without looking up from her book.

It's an €8.00 fair one way, however she tried to sell me the same fair yesterday for €32.00 euro return. PS due your homework you will be charged double if your not aware! It's about a 20minutes ride and the ferry's run throughout the day.

11.20am and I've done my reconnaissance of Positano in 1.30hours, I gave this place the "Virgo" scan,sweet effective and precise. I spoke to the right people and have my itinerary for day trips to the Grotto Azzurra, Grotto Verde better known as "The Emerald Grotto" and Capri. It's an overcaste day with intermittent heavy showers, which in these steep coastal villages with there narrow winding streets create rivers of fast moving water sending the shoppers slipping for cover. I managed to hide in a doorway until the river disappeared. Positano is very beautiful and again two days would be plenty of time to take it in.
