Being a bit slow

Hi all,
Well it's been an interesting few days since I checked in.
I haven't been sleeping to well in the Albergue's and got attached by bed bugs a few night ago. Two hours sleep isn't conducive to long days walking in the spanish sun and then sharing your space with snoring and farting peligrinos can make you a little testie. Nothing that a trip to the Farmacia can't fix! Some bed spray, ear plugs and sleeping pills have brought back some balance to my daily routine.
I meet up with Esteban a few days ago and have put three 30km days together before meeting up with Iñaki and Karina in Burgos on Saturday.
The Cathedral in Burgos is one of the most spectacular in Spain but you know how i feel about churches and this one is so ostentatious it verges on obscene for me anyway. The architecture is to be admired along with the artistry for sure however i cant help consider the human cost to build this monument.We went out to have diner at a famous local restaurant that specialises in Blood Sausage and the most wonderful Lamb cooked in wood fire ovens and shared a few bottles of good Vino Tinto just to relax.
