Palace at San Sebastian

Spent two wonderful days in Madrid and caught a 5 hour train to San Sebastian to visit my Basque Brother, Iñaki "The Angel of the Camino". He is a veteran of 18 Camino's and will join me for a week from Logroño to Burgos. San Sebastian is definitely one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, they call it the "Petit Paris" and it has become legendary for its fine dining and Pinchos. Sunday we went to a famous Ocean Rowing boat Regatta held in the San Sebastian harbour pictured below. This race has been held for 117 years and each region has its own team. It gains it's origin from the local fishing boats that would attempt to return to harbour with there catch before its rivals to obtain the best prices.
